Scope

Design & manufacture a replacement Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) for a BIP Horizontal Press.

The project featured

• Fluid: Mineral Oil (ISO32)
• 15kW pump / motor set (116 lpm / 70 bar)
• Pump: remote control pressure compensated vane pump c/w tandem gear pump
• Off-line filtering / cooling loop (27 lpm / 10 micron)
• Pneumatically operated directional control valve.
• Pneumatically operated pressure relief valve.
• All filtration is Hydac
