Scope

Design & manufacture a stand alone Test Rig with the sole purpose of performing a Production Acceptance Test for a Pitch Control Unit (PCU).

The project featured

• 1 x 5.5kW Pump / motor set (14 lpm / 210 bar)
• 1 x 11kW Pump / motor set (28 lpm / 210 bar)
• Off-line scavenge / filtering system
• Beta tube LVDT position monitoring
• 2 x VSE flow meters
• All filtration Hydac
