Scope
Design & manufacture a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) to supply the flow & pressure requirements to facilitate a 4.5” bullet pull fatigue Test Rig.
The project featured
- Fluid: Mineral Oil (ISO32)
- 5.5kW pump / motor set (46 lpm / 60 bar)
- Pump: pressure compensated radial piston pump
- Pilot operated DCV (24VDC)
- Pressure relief valve (vented, soft-shift, 24VDC)
- All filtration is Hydac
